eBay Categories for Sold Items
« on: December 03, 2022, 09:58:18 am »
I noticed that when I pull in my sold items, the Main Category, Sub Category, Fee Category and Listing Format fields are blank. Is there a way to automate populating these fields with information from eBay or do I need to complete these manually?

Hi, thanks for pointing this out, I see that it is not currently populating... it looks like the data is available; we will add it to the feed ASAP, ill post back when it's done.  (change will be server-side, no new excel file will be needed)

Item category and sub-category information should now be populating.  It appears that most listings do not have a secondary category, so don't be surprised if that column is rarely populated.

Thanks. I just refreshed and I can confirm the category data is coming in now. Looks like eBay is just concatenating all of the category information into the Main Category field. How about the Listing Format? Is that data available to bring in?

We added Listing Format this afternoon, it should now populate.
The other that you mentioned "Fee Category" is just a carry over from way back when the fees had to be calculated by excel formulas, there is no API data tied to it.
If you like you can rename the header and put whatever you like in that column, or just leave it hidden.
