Couple Questions about Shipping and Manual Input if Needed
« on: November 08, 2020, 01:01:32 pm »
First, have been a long time user and love this program, thanks.

My question(s) revolve around shipping costs, and manual input location if needed.
I don't always use eBay shipping because eBay doesn't always present me with the cheapest option, so I use another service to utilize cubic rates.
The shipping costs when purchased using eBay shipping always populate, when I use the other service the cost remains blank and I understand why that happens using a third party.
I have looked and haven't seen or didn't understand if there was a way to populate the cost of shipping on eBay when using a third party shipping service.  I didn't know if you possibly knew a way or if it easier for me to manually input the cost when I use the third party?  And if manually I do manually input the information, where is the best place to input that information and not mess up any formulas within the workbook?

Thanks in advance

Scott

Hi,
Thank you for the kind words first of all!
We dont have a way to get the 3rd party shipping information, so unfortunately it can only automatically populate the shipping for items shipped through ebay.

To manually fill in shipping you can directly put it in the shipping cost column.
MyCostPro is designed that it will never overwrite any user inputs, so once you put it in, it wont mess with it.

Let me know if you still have any trouble!
