Consignment Sales
« on: February 12, 2019, 08:00:19 pm »
Is there a way to handle consigned merchandise in mycostpro? I've poked around a bit but have perhaps missed it.

I need a way to track what is owed to the people who consigned the item as well as my fee/profit from selling the item for them. I would imagine this is a somewhat common need for eBay sellers. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can track consignment items and payments owed...
I recommend putting the commission in as the purchase price (this can be done by formula to do a percentage of the selling price etc, let me know if you need help with that) and indicating the consignment source in the Inventory Source column (or SKU if you want to input the data into your ebay listings).
From there you can utilize the Performance Snapshot tab to generate payment reports (either summarized or detailed with each item).
* Input the date range you want check (ex. 1/1/2019 ~ 1/31/2019)
* Input the Consignment Source (Inventory source or SKU depending on how you want to track it)
* Click Refresh Snapshot
** This will display summarized info, then click the "View Filtered List" to view the itemized list.

Note: if you see "#####" that means there isnt enough room in the cells to see the whole number:
*Click the Full Screen button, resize the affected column, click the full screen button again...
