Include the "listing start date" on the "SoldList"
« on: November 08, 2019, 10:12:12 am »
If you include the "start date" for the listing, I could calculate how long it took to sell the item.....helpful to determine the types of items that sell quickly vs those that take a while.  Thanks.

Thanks for the comment.  It looks like we have a spot there for the listing date already (its hidden by default), we just never got it setup to gather the data for that point from ebay...
Give us a little time and we should be able to get that data returned back to you with all of the rest of the ebay data, we just need to check and test a few things first and I will reply back again when it is done!

SGARBER, it is done!  The listing date will now populate in sold item tab.

Two things to note:  That column is hidden by default.  And the default formatting of the column was not set either.  So it will need to be unhidden, and then also change the format to date format.
We have a new version of the sheet available to download that takes care of everything, or if you just want to change it on your existing file follow the steps below.

I will post more detail in the version update history, but to change to date format:
Click the FULL SCREEN button (this will display the standard excel ribbon bar menu).
Right click column G column header (right click on the "G")
Select "format cells..." from the drop down
Select Date format and select which one you like from that list

That is wonderful!  Thanks so much.  I will also try to download the new spreadsheet, which is something I have never done before with MYCOSTPRO.  I think I saw a set of instructions for that process, so I will give it a try.  Thanks again.

With your subscription you can download a fresh copy of the latest version at any time with your username and download key at  https://mycostpro.com/download

The instructions to transfer the data to the new sheet are on the account info tab in MyCostPro, but let me know if you have any trouble.
