Charged Shipping vs Actual Shipping
« on: July 24, 2020, 07:36:16 pm »
I am new to MyCostPro and so far I am very pleased with the interface and the reports, but I have one major (technical?)issue:

I have downloaded 90 days of ebay sales (SOLD ITEMS). All the information seems to have populated correctly except shipping. The numbers in the expense column under Postage show the amount I charged the customer for shipping, but not what I actually paid for the shipping after my discount. I wanted to get an accurate Net Profit, so I entered the actual costs manually for each item, but even when I looked at the SNAPSHOT it appears it is using the shipping charged vs actual shipping paid. How do I correct this?

Hi,
To correctly fill in the shipping cost that you pay, please make sure you are enrolled in the (free) eBay selling manager program, and that you are shipping through ebay shipping.
Otherwise, the eBay API will populate the shipping cost as the amount that you charge for shipping (because it doesnt know the actual cost).

If this doesnt address your issue, please let me know!
