Hello

For 2019 I kept all my sales data on my own spreadsheet, but it is not as advanced as yours with the features and capabilities it offers. I would like to move my Sold Item Data onto my mycostpro spreadsheet, so that I can use it to help me to prepare for my tax reporting for 2019. I copy and pasted all the pertinent information from my spreadsheet to MCP, and the right side column actually shows me my ROI and profit, which is very nice and will be more accurate now that MCP will pull 2020 data for me from ebay, lots of time saved, i like that.

I also read through the forums and on the Sold Item Page I updated column B with a unique ID for each sale. I first tried using numbers 1 thru 635, which is what I used for the item numbers, very basic and something I know will not be duplicated, I then tried adding a -001 to the numbers. Both scenarios did not update any of the P&L reports with any information from the Sold Item List.

Do you have a technique, instructions, on how I can bring my data over to MCP so it appears on the reporting features?
Sometimes I might sell an item via letgo as well. Would be nice if you had a way to simply input sales done outside ebay, a setup kind of like your Product Master page. A simple page new comers can load there data onto and then if all is correct the page will allow you to update it to the Sold Item page, also would be good for One Off item sales.

So any advice you can give on how I can get the reporting to update with the data I added to the Sold Item list would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
CK

Hi,
Good suggestion, I will take it into advisement for future updates.
For your manual sales items not showing up in reports... I think it is most likely that the sale month was not input;  it is hidden by default, but it is the first of the month for the month the item is sold in.
EX.  item sold 2/20/2020...  there should be an entry there "2/1/2020"
This is automatically done for your ebay sale downloads through mycostpro, but you will need to put it in for manual entries.

Hi Scott

Thank you, that did the trick. This is going to be a big assist with doing my taxes for 2019.
