Downloading sales prior to 90 days
« on: May 27, 2019, 07:50:23 am »
I just signed up for MyCostPro - what a great program. I was able to download my sales for the past 90 days but I would like to have the entire year (adding January and part of February).  Do I have to do that manually?  Thanks!

Thank you for the compliment! Unfortunately, eBay limits sales data retrieval through their API to 90 days in the past, so we have no way to provide you with that data in an automated fashion.  On the bright side, once your data is downloaded or manually entered and saved in MyCostPro, it will reside there as long as you want, and you will eventually get to see some cool charts and reports for month/month year/year data.  I hope my answer is sufficient, and we hope to see you as an active customer for years to come!

Folan63 -
In case you were having trouble adding those older sales manually here is a guide to manually adding sales:
Fill in all required fields, most are obvious, but some are not.  The ones that are hidden by default are marked with (h).  Any that fees that dont apply (like insertion fee, etc) can be left blank, or filled in with 0.
* (h) Item/Transaction ID (put any unique value)
* Item Title
* Quantity
* Sale Date
* (h) Month Sold (the first day of the month the item was sold in, this is for the reports)
* Item Purchase Price (COGS)
* Postage (that you pay to ship)
* Final Value Fee
* Insertion Fees (if any)
* Upgrade Fees (promoted listing etc)
* Paypal (or other payment) fees
* Sale Price
* Shipping (that you charged customer)
Two of those marked with (h) are hidden by default to keep the data clutter to a minimum:
   To Display and manipulate Hidden Columns
1.   Turn ON the "click layout assist" button.
2.   Click a double triangle above one of the vertical bookmark column separator.
3.   If you want to permanently display a column, delete the "h" above that column.
4.   Click the double triange again to rehide the unwanted columns.
5.   Turn OFF the "click layout assist button" (should be kept off when not in use, as it can slightly affect the sheets responsiveness/speed).
