Technical Support / Active Items Gone, error message
« Last post by Suavepenguin on March 13, 2024, 09:47:24 pm »
I went to download active items after listing some things, it emptied my Active Item list, says I have no Active Items, and I get this error message: Exception in eBayCall: Web Service Framework internal error. execute exception.

Help Scott!

Hi,
It looks like your cat probably hit F11, which creates a new worksheet for a chart like shown.
If you hit CTRL+Page Up or CTRL+Page Down on the keyboard it will switch back to one of the normal worksheets and you can click the FULL SCREEN button to display the worksheet tabs and delete the worksheet that was made.
Or if you prefer just send me a copy to support@mycostpro.com and ill take care of that for you.

Thanks,
Scott

Technical Support / Runtime error 1004
« Last post by SwampFox Mercantile on March 02, 2024, 12:07:48 pm »
Hi everyone--

I've been using the program for over a year and am very pleased.  Last week when I was working on my inventory and sales, my cat stepped on my keyboard, hit a bunch of buttons (along with the mouse trackpad), and somehow exited out of the program.  Needless to say, my program is now totally screwed up.  I have no idea what he pushed or how he did it, but when I open the program I now receive the following message:

Run-time error '1004'

Unable to set the DisplayHeadings property of the Windows class

I've attached a screenshot of what MCP looks like when I open my file.  I hope someone can help!  I need to update my inventory!

Thanks for your help.

Frequently Asked Questions / Moving / collapsing columns
« Last post by Blueocean on February 03, 2024, 01:56:23 pm »
Good day,

Returning customer here.

Just downloaded and getting reacquainted with MCP.

Informed to use the "hide "h" column" feature to remove columns. However, once done and I have removed columns I want to move columns to different areas of the sheet. Is this possible as I can't figure out how to do this.

I would love to be able to collapse the columns like I saw in the tutorial but am unable. There is no double diamond on my sheet.

Any help to be able to move things around on the sheet and in working with collapsing and re-opening columns would be appreciated.

Thank you

Frequently Asked Questions / Re: Shipping expense
« Last post by Scott on January 30, 2024, 09:08:01 pm »
That is a tricky question that the eBay Developer API Documentation does not provide an answer to... Keep in mind nothing on our end changes, it is eBay that determines if they send us the information or not.  I would say, be aware that it could be a potential issue, and monitor to make sure it is populating correctly if you run into a gray area scenario like that.

Frequently Asked Questions / Shipping expense
« Last post by achseh on January 30, 2024, 01:06:16 pm »
I know that to have the worksheet pull shipping costs from eBay that I must pay for shipping from my eBay funds.

What if I do not have enough in ebay funds to pay for shipping or store subscriptions and ebay takes them from my credit card --- is the full amount paid for bulk shipping reflected in the amount pulled from eBay and shown in the spreadsheet or is only the amount paid for by ebay funds shown (meaning I need to add the extra expense manually)?

Thanks!
