I am looking to start a new spreadsheet for 2024. Ebay now allows recall of up to 2 years of sales (in past I know was 90 days), I input 150 days in the "call duration" box and reset, but only got the last 90 days downloaded onto the new spreadsheet. Is the 90 days a spreadsheet limitation, or is ebay only allowing 90 days of downloading, while you can view 2 years on ebay? If possible can you adjust to two years of call duration? This may be a sales opportunity for you, for people that need your spreadsheet, they can get their full current year of sales, and all of last years sales as well.

Please advise, thank you.

Hi
I have noticed that when I have a multi-item sale (2 or more items) of different items, and I am given a "Sales Record" (for example) 1715 for item #1 and 1715.001 for item #2, the tracking number is loaded correctly for both lines, but the postage paid by me for the label for USPS does not appear on either line. I would expect it to appear on one of these lines.

Can you check on this? I don't do multi item sales often, but the 3 I had in past four months all had this issue.

FYI - I did try to do a 90 day re-pull using the settings screen, and then reloading sold items, but it still did not pull the Postage Expense for the 2 sales within the 90 days. Is the data somewhere on the spreadsheet still perhaps? Not sure how I can find postage paid for the one sale beyond 90 days.

Hello

Last night I updated my Sold Items list before I had purchased shipping. This morning after preparing and paying for shipping, I went into MCP and went to Sold Items List and did a Download Sales from Ebay, and the items I had downloaded last night did not update with Tracking Number, or shipping fees. I then put the SS into Full Screen Mode and deleted the two item line rows that I am trying to update. I then clicked on Download Sales from Ebay, and nothing appeared for the item lines I had deleted.

How does one update Sold Items, besides manually entering data, that have been downloaded prior to purchasing postage?

thank you
CK

Hi
I had to cancel an order due to a typo in my listing that was my error. Postage was never ordered, I simply informed my customer of the typo on my listing, and agreed I would cancel the order and issue a refund. That was this weekend, and ebay initiated the refund via paypal to the customer. However the refund amount does not appear in Sold Items sheet after I did a recent Sold Item download.

1. I then tried to set the Call Duration in settings to 30 days and redid Sold Items download. No luck.
2. On Sold Items page, I deleted the entire row with the item, leaving no blank row. I then set Call Duration to 30 days and did another SI download. I got a reply of No New Sales, and no row appeared for the item, neither the sale showing no refund or an item showing a refund.

It appears if a seller cancels an item due to an issue of their making, it is no longer included in the SI download thus why refund never updated, nor when doing a re-download of the deleted item.

Have you seen this before or know if there is a solution to get the refund to populate?

Since Paypal no longer refunds merchant fees, there is still an expense to the seller and I wish to reflect it in my numbers. So I see two problems.
1. If a seller does an SI download before cancelling they will see the item in the SI List, but will not get a refund amount once a cancelation is done. (This was my case)
2. If a seller does a cancellation prior to doing SI download, the item will never appear in the SI List.

Scenario 1 at least I can manually go and enter the refund amount given to the buyer.
Scenario 2 means having to go through the fun steps of manually entering a sale, and special steps entering UNIQUE numbers.

Do you know if this is know issue, or is there a solution or work around?
Also it is possible I did something wrong which makes my observations null.

Thank you
Chet

Hi Scott

Thank you, that did the trick. This is going to be a big assist with doing my taxes for 2019.

Hello

For 2019 I kept all my sales data on my own spreadsheet, but it is not as advanced as yours with the features and capabilities it offers. I would like to move my Sold Item Data onto my mycostpro spreadsheet, so that I can use it to help me to prepare for my tax reporting for 2019. I copy and pasted all the pertinent information from my spreadsheet to MCP, and the right side column actually shows me my ROI and profit, which is very nice and will be more accurate now that MCP will pull 2020 data for me from ebay, lots of time saved, i like that.

I also read through the forums and on the Sold Item Page I updated column B with a unique ID for each sale. I first tried using numbers 1 thru 635, which is what I used for the item numbers, very basic and something I know will not be duplicated, I then tried adding a -001 to the numbers. Both scenarios did not update any of the P&L reports with any information from the Sold Item List.

Do you have a technique, instructions, on how I can bring my data over to MCP so it appears on the reporting features?
Sometimes I might sell an item via letgo as well. Would be nice if you had a way to simply input sales done outside ebay, a setup kind of like your Product Master page. A simple page new comers can load there data onto and then if all is correct the page will allow you to update it to the Sold Item page, also would be good for One Off item sales.

So any advice you can give on how I can get the reporting to update with the data I added to the Sold Item list would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
CK

Hi
I just did a download update for Sold Items completed, I had three items. One came back with no tracking or actual postage cost info downloaded. All postage was done via Ebay. I looked on forum and saw notes about Selling Manager, but don't think that applies here because the dozens of other sales all have the actual postage cost and tracking info downloaded. Plus when I look on ebay only option in subscribtion is $15.99 for Selling Manager Pro, which I do not want.

Is it possible to delete the entire line of information and try another Sold Items download? or do you have another solution besides just key entering the information.

Thank you, ChetK
