Hi im just purchased this and have problem


using win 10 & excel 2016

i have problem to access my ebay activation

and the warning say:

Your organization's policies are preventing us from completing this action for you

sorry its solved by me,


Right click on the Start menu, click Run, type Regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
Browse to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.html
If a default value (Default) has a value other than htmlfile or (value not set), right click on it and select Modify...

Change the value from "ChromeHTML" to htmlfile (or from FireFoxHTML to htmlfile)
Repeat for the .htm, shtml, .xht, .xhtml, .xhtm keys

and Restart your windows

Thank you for the detailed fix you posted.
I believe this is related to the security options for opening and directing users to an internet page from a source such as excel.

I recommend the following work around for simplicity:

go to https://mycostpro.com/ebay-token-status

and paste your download key, it will direct you to the ebay site for authorization.
