Need Help - Program Not connecting to Server during Initial Set-up
I cannot even get the 'Message of the Day' popups to appear and all links are useless.
Am I dumb? (Maybe don't answer that)

Im not sure, can you let me know the version of windows and version of excel you are using?

Windows 10
Have tried Excel Online, Trio Office and Open Office

Hi,
Windows 10 is fine, but MyCostPro needs to be run on a standard main version of excel, it wont work in an online or other spreadsheet applications such as open office.

OK. TY for the info. Any suggestions on an inexpensive way to get Excel?

The cheapest version would probably be Office 2007, but any of the main versions after that will work.  I would just search your favorite marketplace (ie eBay, Amazon, google, etc) for the best deal.
