Title: Adding non-Ebay items to Sold List
Post by: HopefulHanger on January 06, 2019, 07:39:06 am
Since I sell on other platforms - Posh, FB Marketplace - can/how I manually add sold items to my spreadsheet?  I've tried before and the "update sold items" function always erases them.  Is there something I should be doing different when manually adding?

Hi,
You can manually add sales from other platforms; the key is to make sure to input all of the required fields.
One of these that isnt obvious is the "Item/Transaction ID (Unique)" column (Column B) which is hidden by default.  You can fill this in with any unique value (eg.  Posh000001, Posh000002, etc)

The other required columns are a bit more obvious, (like sales date, price, etc) but if you still have trouble please let me know.

Thank you for asking this question! I keep a separate spreadsheet for my non-eBay earnings (Mercari, Poshmark, Etsy). I change the text color of the item name (purple for Posh, dark red for Mercari) in the Product Master tab when an item sells on another platform to remind me that it won't be appearing in the sales on MCP.

Using MCP for everything would be so much easier!

And thanks, Scott, for letting us know how to do it. :)
